Is there a way to hyperlink files in order to place their drawings into a common layout book?

I have a project with a number of buildings on the same site. I want to be able to create one layout book, with all of the drawings in one place. Is there a way to hyperlink files so their specific views are imported into a master file? I can hyperlink these individual building files, but the issue is that each building is a different orientation, so simply placing the master file view views onto the sheets doesn't work, as the plans, text, etc is not orthogonal to the page. 

The first image is how the plan should appear on th esheet. teh second image is how the plan shows up when I hyperlink th efiles into the master file, which obviously doesn't work.

You could use the old technique of publishing .pmk from the discrete Archicad files and then put them alltogether in a single Layout-Archicad file.

That's the workflow I'm using whenever I have multi-building sites.

Once it's set up it works beautifully in my opinion.

Hi Phil,

If I understand correctly the rotation of the view is not correct on your layout? Have you checked the zoom/rotation checkbox on your views (see arrow on printscreen)? With this you can save a specific zoom or rotation on your view.

(regarding your workflow; I have found that updating drawings from multiple external files could take quite a while depending on project size, something to think about on larger projects)
