Since their object was open source, I modified it to allow for more flexibility. Would be nice to be able to Call loaded storey markers, but I could not figure out how to override the text...

Thank you for this object!
2/3 observations on my part:
The use of hot spots is still not totally clear for a normal user
Could the displayed messages be clearer?
They display 1/-1 (necessary in GDL if I understand correctly) instead of over/under or on/off : could they display text instead?

The "marker offset" hotspot is complicated to find/understand
Forgot about that hotspot. I have now offset it similar to the "Section Length" hotspot. Might naming it to "Object Origin Offset" be better?
display 1/-1 instead of over/under or on/off
Are you talking about flipping of the marker, which current shows 1000/-1000 since 1/-1 wasn't working properly? I was actually wanting to completely remove the display text as the visual feedback is more than enough, but that does not seem to be possible... The only way I can think of to get it to say over/under would be to populate another text array which would be more effort than it is worth... I am also having issues currently with offsetting array values when you toggle the reference storey, as well as the default values when stories are added. Same reasoning for the grid toggle having the static "Off/On" relating to the 0/1 feedback. Display parameters also do not work with values{2}...

I remember an Object from olivier Dentan that was displaying letters instead of numbers. I will investigate.
I took the liberty of doing a test by moving the points that change the height and hide the level.
I find that there are too many points on the story line, so I moved them slightly above and below the story.

The storey height hotspot needs to be on the line in case you want to snap it to something. Could offset the toggle ones. I only have access to ac22 and 23 so I am unsure what else you might have changed. Hide the level? Could put a toggle to for each type of hotspot, which I have done on other objects.

Update:
- 50 new lines, 2 new arrays. Marker flip and grid toggle now have a text output.
- Primary hotspots now have a static ID. ie. the storey height one.
- Grid lines can now be snapped to.
Bug:
New grids default to hidden...
Woops. Had a min where there should have been a max. That's been fixed now.

- Added ability to offset grids from Project Storeys.
Other than figuring out why some things are defaulting to hidden, I think that is it.

Fixed grid end hotspots not zeroing when marker head was offset but off.

Hi!
I have a bug using the "use project storey" option
2023-05-19 10:36 AM - edited 2023-05-19 10:37 AM
The arrays sometimes do not refresh when toggling that option, as well as the reference only option... You can get around this by adding then removing additional storeys.
ps. Are you using display scaling? The text descriptions should not be cropping...
