I have a number of beams that I am scheduling as duct penetrations. In the schedule I have added about 8 "custom text" fields. Are these now associated with these elements such that I can create a label in plan or section that uses autotext to show the custom text from the schedule? Does that make sense?
Operating system used: Mac Apple Silicon

Hi,
To my knowledge, no. You can't recall the info placed in a custom text in schedule in a text label as that custom text isn't "embedded" into the object.
A better way to achieve this would be through the use of properties:

Fastest way that I can think of, to transfer the data from your already-made custom texts would be to define 8 properties, and schedule them along your custom texts and just copy-paste from one cell to the other.

I've long switched from custom text fields to just using properties

properties would be the workflow I would utilize, as well
