Multiple section setting change

Tom Krowka

Let's say I have 10 sections set up. I want to change some of the setting in all of them at once, such as marker styles, pen color, some of the display pens and fills, etc. Any way to do all of them at once. Doing it 10 times seems like such a chore.
Thanks Tom

Select all of them first and then edit them.

How do I select them all. Can't do it through any part of the organizer.

If we are talking about "global section settings" then in Floor Plan you can do a select all with the Section icon selected and AC will select all sections, then CMD+T to open the settings palette and everything that you edit there will apply to all Sections.
If we are talking about manually drafted lines or text placed on each section then there is no option short of using Graphic Overrides if they have consistent common items (If Line is Pen 08 in Layer X then change pen to 21).
For text replacement AC can do a Global Text Replace (Under Edit Menu).
For all other 3D objects you can edit them in the 3D Window and they will be updated

Selecting on the floor plan did the trick for me. Would never had thought of doing it that way.
Thanks Tom
