Some stairs appear correctly in the View Map but are missing from the Layout Book. What could be causing this issue?

It's a bug! Just copy and paste the stairs into a new file, then copy and paste them back into the original file.

In the file where it does not appear on the Layout, is your project located far from the Project Origin? That is one factor that may cause elements to not appear on Layouts.

No.

This is strange indeed.
Is that text part of the stair object?
If so, why would that show but not the stair.
Or is it separate text you have placed?

Did you try to repair the file? I feel like I have had this happen before and a repair resolved it.

Is the stair flagged as inverted?
I have had some issues when that error/warning has popped up.

Yes, the text is part of the stair. E.B., in French, stands for "down" in English, and E.H. stands for "up"., which makes the case even more difficult to understand. This is the first time I've faced such a situation. I'll look further into it.

Great idea. I'll check into it.

Not even that. It displayed correctly in the View Map but was missing from the layout.
