Hello,
I am facing an issue where a table appears grey when placed in the layout, even though all the overlay settings seem correct. Here's what I've checked so far:
- Layer settings are visible and correct.
- Overlay definitions are properly set.
- Table appears fine in the editor but turns grey only in the layout.
I am using Archicad 27 Solo, and this occurs consistently with different projects.
Has anyone faced a similar issue or knows a workaround?
Thanks in advance!

I found it out in my case. It was related with the Design Options Tool (it was selected as passive element)

When you place the view in a layout make sure that your Drawing Selection Settings/Size and Apperance/Colors is set to Defined by Pen Set. You might have it set to Grayscale.

You know, the more I look at your problem, this can't be the solution. I'm sorry. I'll take another look and see if I can't figure this one out.

Check your view settings for the schedule/table and make sure that the Pen Set is set to the one you need. It seems to me that you have a pen set for the plan view and a different pen set saved for the schedule/table view.

Hi Jeff,
Thank you for your response!
I really appreciate you taking the time to help. I’ve double-checked the settings you mentioned (layer visibility, table formatting, and overlay definitions), and everything seems to be correct. Unfortunately, the issue persists.
If you have any additional suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it if you could share them with me.

Raul, now that you've looked at the view settings for the index/table and verified that the Pen Set was set to the correct pen set you want, I want you now to look in two more locations for similar settings.
I want you to open your Plan View View Settings and double check that it also has the same View Setting/Pen Set as the index/table you verified previously in the index/table.
Once you have confirmed that it also is reading the same view setting as you have in the index, I have one more location for you to look at...
Now go to the Layout Sheet and highlight the view on the sheet you want to check and select the Drawing Selection Settings. I want you to look at the Pen Set: and verify that it also is the same Pen Set you're using in the other two views. And also make sure that Colors: Defined by Pen Set.
Verify all of these settings and let me know your result. If you need me to do a recording to show you, let me know.
