Hi everyone,
I’m trying to visually differentiate existing and proposed elements in section within Archicad. I’ve done this before with an automated setting, but I can’t seem to find where thr setting is now.
I have attached a screenshot showing the problematic section (at the top) above the two sections that are working correctly. The differeing backdrop makes no difference if it;s white or not, nor do chnages in pen sets.
As you can see, the last two sections display gray and white areas to differentiate existing and proposed elements, but the third section isn’t reflecting these changes.
I’ve already checked the Renovation Filter, Graphic Overrides, and Model View Options, but all sections seem to be using the same settings.
If someone knows the automated setting in within 'view map' it would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

Try placing that top section on a white layout page to see if that makes a difference
You may not be seeing the grey shading as it is the same as the background off the page.

Thanks, but isn't the case. I have copied all three sections (with the problem child one atthe top) against a white background and as you can see it has not fixed the problem.

If you select the drawing, right click and 'open source view', does it appear as it should?

Yes, it is the same in both project and view maps.

So the view is correct when you open it, and if you drag that view from the view map onto the layout page, it does not show correctly?

Tough one to solve without having the file itself.
If you are sure the views look correct when you open them, they all have the same settings and when you drag them to a layout page they behave differently, I am at a loss for ideas as to why.

Is the problematic Drawing on your layout set to to "Black & White"?
If it is, then a grey less than 50% would become white.
