Why is my sheet title block information RED? how to change?

Hi
working for DC architectural firm.
they just got all new licenses of AC14 and I noticed that in my 'layouts' the sheet title border information is "RED" yet in my master, in my layout settings....everywhere else the sheet 2d linework is another color...where do I change the layout to be "black"?

I know this may sound like a simple questions but I've seached all over and can't seem to find where to change the sheet 2d linework border edge to be a "black" look?

thanks in advance.

Rob

I also noticed that my "Quick Options" is 'greyed out' when I'm in the "Masters" ??? why is that?

Rob,

It is a preference so that you know which elements are placed on a Master Layout and which are placed on the Layout that you are working.

that's neat...and I like the fact that you can "standardize" the way the sheet masters look but.....wonder what is the purpose of this function?

...and it is just an on-screen aid: has nothing to do with what color the master items are actually printed with (which is based on their pens).

They are grayed also when you view a Layout, not only with Master Layouts. And it is because when you are in the Layout Book, they do not apply, except for Layers, which is enabled.
Most of the Quick Options apply to Viewpoints in the Project Map and saved Views in the View Map.

I don't know that this statement is correct. A co-worker tried to print out a sheet layout that had "color" photographs on them and when we printed "In color".....the sheet title information printed red, which is what we did not want....we wanted to print the sheet title information in black, while being able to print "some" arrow leaders in red and print "all the photos" in their original color......

The only way that can happen is if the title sheet content also had a red pen assigned to it. If the title sheet elements had non-red pens, then you've uncovered some kind of bug. 😞

I have a similar problem. I recently upgraded from Archicad SE 2017 to SE 2022 and for projects that I started in SE17 when I view them in SE22 the title block in the master layout looks normal - black writing with my coloured logo - but all the project layouts have the title block all in red including my logo. How do I change it when the master looks fine? The drawings are in the correct pen colours.
