line drawing dimension off

I don't know why when I draw a line or polygon line, the dimension is way off.  But if I draw a polygon box, then the dimension is correct.  When I use the measuring tool is correct as well.

Operating system used: Mac Intel-based Sonoma 14.4

It seems to be reading the values from the project origin/

But I have no idea why that is different when drawing a polygon or using the measure tool.

The only setting I know of is...

Try turning that off/on.

You will see a line tracking back to project origin when you turn it off, so I don't think it is that as I don't see it in your images.

And again it would be the same for all tools.
