pasted text size differs from source text

when copying text that is say 1.8mm if i zoom out or in and paste the text into an adjacent textbox or label the resulting pasted text size is instead 1.7489mm (it tends to vary depending on zoom level.

How do i fix this so i dont constantly have to correct pasted text size, i just want it to stay the same size it was ie. 1.8mm at any zoom level?

Operating system used: Windows 11

Pretty sure its a bug, I made a similar post about a year ago. Still no fix

No fix that I am aware of.

Please report this to your local Archicad support.

The more people that report it, the more chance that is might get looked at.

Hi Barry, Ive reported it 3 separate times with screenshots and videos and the same reply each time is "we can not replicate this at our end so we cant help you any further." and the case is closed.

Graphisoft have been aware of this since at least 2022.

That was just one post I linked to, there are others.

Here is another with a response from Graphisoft to say the problem was fixed on Macs, but seems to be more of a problem on Windows.

Please note that Minh no longer works for Graphisoft.

I am sure there is another more recent post where the font size changes slightly even with out zooming that had a response from Graphisoft.

I just can't find that one at the moment, may have been during beta testing.

This has been a bug since at least AC24, for me.

Happens with any text that is copied from another file.

The Ticket i lodged with Cadimage NZ replied with:
Thank you so much for sending the .pla file and screen capture video, and also for your patience. 
I have submitted your case to Graphisoft support, and currently I am waiting for their response. 
 
I will keep this ticket open and send you an update as soon as I hear back from them.
