I'm looking at buying a new laptop. I seem to recall in the past that certain individuals had problems with vista. I was wondering, now that Vista's been out for a while, if anyone has any input as to any compatibility issues. I'm using XP Pro now and AC 11.
Thanks,
Doug

Remember that Vista 64 is unable to use the VR functions within ArchiCad. Apparently Apple (the inventors of VR) haven't yet written the drivers to make it work with 64 bit window OS's. And Graphisoft obviously don't have, or don't use, enough clout to make them do so.

For the VR take in consideration that Apple is writing the next, full 64 bit version of Quicktime (Quicktime X if I remember correctly) that will be released sometime this year with the 10.6 upgrade. That might be why there has not being any improvements on the older version.

Maybe, but we have been waiting about 4 years for a 64-bit edition of Quicktime. I hope it's worth it.
