Goodmorning,awesome forum,
weird thing...somehow drag & drop stopped working, I don't recall making any changes on any setting, maybe there is a hotkey toggling drag & drop on and off but for the life of me I cannot find something!

Dragging and dropping what exactly, and from where to where?

jpgs, dxf etc, dragging from a folder to my plan.

I am not aware of any setting to turn this off.

Are you sure you are dragging into the open plan in Archicad (with no other dialogue boxes open - i.e. you are ready to work in the plan) and are not just dragging onto the Archicad button in your task bar?

Have you tried restarting your machine? - the old IT fallback when nothing else seems to work.

unfortunately, yes and yes.
The weird thing is that it used to work perfectly and then it just stopped, thats why i am leaning towards accidentaly pressing a hotkey or something similar.

I reinstalled Archicad and the problem remains.
It is localized only in archicad, I can drag and drop files to other programs,as usual.

Uninstalling / Reinstalling Java also doesn't work.
This is getting quite frustrating! :S

SOLUTION (by BISuletz) : Disable "Run as admin"
Still cannot understand why this is happening, but at least now I know.

Where do you have to disable "Run as Admin"? In the Properties of the Archicad.exe file?
