Arched empty doors

Hi there,

why does the dashed line of an empty arch opening turn into a solid line when the arc radius is increased ? Zrzut ekranu 2025-02-3 o 5.53.51 PM.png

Hi Jarkwiat,

Are you using an opening or a door?

I'm assuming AC27

The arch line in plan is not a single curve (don't ask me why not).

If you explode the object. you will see it is a series of short line segments.

I think the line becomes more segmented depending on the curve, and as it will be trying to show the dash at the start and end of the segment, it will appear solid.

Also, if you choose a larger scale, you will probably see the dashes again because the line type is set to scale independently.

Use a shorter dash line style or a dotted one.

Expanding the image, you can see the ends of each line, and on the largre radius you can see that it does correspond to the start and end of a dash. Maybe the arch is drawn as a 3D projection instead of a simple curve?
