GDL Solid Geometry Commands Question

Hello,
Is there a way to hide the joint between two groups that
are either subtracted (one from the other) using the
SUBGROUP command or added (one to the other) using the
ADDGROUP command ? In the situation I am dealing with,
the two bodies are co-planer and I want to hide the joint
between them. I notice that in Archicad, when two tool
elements, say two slabs that are co-planer, participate
in an SEO subtract operation, the joint between them
disappears in 3D and section/elevation. I was wondering
if the same effect could be accomplished in GDL.

I did a simple test using two thick slabs one "thicker" than the other
one interpenitrating the other and being co-planer. I then did a SEO
subtracting one from the other. In 3D, the joint between them
disappeared. I saved the two slabs as a library part and placed
an instance in the plan and viewed the part in 3D. The joint
between the two CPRISMS did not show. So it seems that
in AC 10 and later, co-planer elements whether tool elements
or part of a library part do clean up with each other.

To answer my own question, the clean up is automatic even
in a library part that is using Solid Geometry Commands.
I solved my GDL problem by adding two "results" rather than
subtracting them.
