1. Should I use Eptar rebar?
Is this really a good choice????
2. What is Total Length - Length = 120 to 120?
12,000 - 20 - 20 = 11,960
Length Total Length
11,960 - 12,080 = 120 ????
3. Does eptar support API?
4. I want to ask a question about eptar rebar.
I would appreciate it if you could tell me where to post the question.
5.
I'm looking to see how far I have to go with archicad. archicad does not include rebar.
That's why I'm asking how you do it.
And are these rebars for structural purposes?
Or is it for details?
This is a question because I can't see the joint of the rebar.
I tried using it for a day, but it seems to be too different compared to revit.

I don't know if it's suitable to discuss Eptar Reinforcement add on here but generally the length of the reinforcing bar is 12000 mm.
The values you see are:
20 mm for concrete cover.
D for development length for rebar which is for example 40% or 60% from the bar diameter in Egyptian code.
And so on, all those are included in the 12000 mm total length.

1. Egyptian code. ?
2. D ?
3. 12,000 - 20x2 = 11,960
( 20 mm for concrete cover. )
Length Total Length
11,960 - 12,080 = 120 ????
How do I calculate 120mm?

Archicad doesn't have yet reinforcement feature but it's included in its road map so for now you can use (Eptar reinforcement) this is an add-on enables you to create reinforcing rebars.
Sure rebars are for structural detailing for load bearing elements like footing, column, beam, slab & stair.
You can find tutorials on how to use this add on at Eptar website:

Yes a wall accessory, you have to have goodies installed.
The objects that come with the accessories library have some good starting code as well
