No representation of symbolic MEP elbows, Y and T in plan

Hello. When I create a pipe routing model in MEP and select the "symbolic" option in the model view options, it doesn't display elbows, Y-fittings, or T-fittings. However, it does in the sample MEP model in the software. Am I missing something?

What happens if you toggle the View > On-Screen View Options > MEP Reference Lines toggle OFF?

It's turned off 😕
And when I open the sample MEP file to download, everything works fine. I'm going crazy.

What happens if you start a brand new file and model some of these there? Are they displayed correctly? If yes, then the issue could be file-specific. Is this project file migrated from a previous version by any chance? Strange things sometimes happen in migrated files.
