In the Story Levels panel of the Settings Dialog you can select the GDL Object used for the Story Level Marker. There is by default one such object called "Built-in Story Marker" which can have only this Marker shape.
You need to script a new Marker object if you want to have more options.

Kubus, the dutch reseller, has such an option in their KeyMember library, maybe you can get them to translate the library part for you.

You can also turn off the marker and use an elevation dimension line. That's what we do as we are adding more dimension to the string than just the story levels to begin with.

Can you show me where exactly this settings adjustment is?
Not sure I know where to go to look for it?
Is it in the section marker? In the story settings? In the main settings? Where?

You want to look under Story Levels setting of section/elevation and use the pull down menu to load another type (if available) or start scripting your own if you are some GDL guru.

I am not, so I'm using dimensions. It's not as automatic, but more versatile.

The dutch subscription library one comes close to what you are showing, but is obviously not a part of the US library.

You need to load a Story Marker object in to your library if you have one available, or failing that create one to suit your needs.

I'm not sure if there are any third party options that sell elevation markers.

You may find this helpful if you want to script a marker:

Erwin,
very helpful read......though it doesn't do me any good if I am not able to convert a 2D (non-scripted) object into a scripted object for use as a sub.
