AC18 De-merging fills

We've all got used to merging different walls and floors and not showing the joints if the surfaces are the same. I understand that AC18 has on option to show joints if we need to. If so, where do I find this command?

I guess what Steve means by his image is that you have to duplicate your Building Material, then assign one of the duplicate BMs to the Wall, the other to the Slab.

Thanks for that method. That is what I've always done. I thought that AC18 might have had a switch or something to turn this feature on or off. There are times, esp. when creating details, that it is important to show the joints between different components using the same material.
