Looking:

Introduction to Office Standards > Extending ArchiCAD > Adding Functionality

have noticed some unknown for me add-ons:

ALL CAPS,
CostGroup,
Fiebdc,
Modify Library Parts,
Opaque Element,

Anyone have info about these add-ons?

I've never heard of them either. Maybe they are specialized for one region's version?

During the 8.1 beta round there were a lot of add-ons from other countries floating around. The ones you've listed look to be from a German version and may have had something to do with tools for permits?

Try a search on ArchiTipp.de for more info.

ps the add-on I would like to see as part of everyone's toolkit was from Japan. It was a very sophisticated (and blazing fast) sun/shadow study tool. It was apparently developed as a code-compliance tool.

If anyone else knows about this tool and would like to share more information about it, I'd love to hear from you.

i'm not sure about all of them, but a couple there were AC8.1 'in-house' betas that eventually became a part of archiCAD 9.

'opaque element', for example, was an add-on for 8.1 that allowed you to place what we now know as a cover fill on a slab or roof, etc . . . i think i've still got it floating around somewhere . . .

do you have any idea what it was called? i have the three 'in-house' add-ons (opaque element, modify library parts and ALL-CAPS) and about nine other 'localised' ones from the 8.1 beta test . . .

I'll ask some questions and report back. My spy is away in Panama this week so it may be a few days.

Dear Zohrab Bauer at All,
Thanks for reporting a documentation bug. This screenshot was taken by the author from a beta version with all the add-ons of the world loaded. The following add-ons that you discovered on the list are not included in the INT version of AC9

ALL CAPS was under development was not finished for the final version

CostGroup; only used in Germany, makes cost estimations according to German standards

Fiebdc; only used in Spain exports data to cost estimator program called Presto

Modify Library Parts; only for internal use in GS

Opaque Element; this add-on placed a fill beneath the text you wrote. This feature is part of RTF in AC9

Thanks again for the report,
