Adjust the height of wall coverings

I am trying to adjust the height of my wall covering so that it sits under the soffit and drops below the FFL to cover my joists. There is a stretch function for this but it does nothing for me and I cant adjust the heights in the properties. Any ideas?

Probably not what you are after, but you could solid element operations - your soffit as an operator with a 'subtract with upward extrusion' with your wall covering as the target?
