GS please give us a list of ac 10 will be able to do

many users are dissapointed by the progress of the last versions and thinking about switching from archicad to another cad software.

Hmmm ... VC solutions came out QUITE some time after 9. 9 is the engine, so they don't exist without 9. Don't forget also that a crossplatform development is required, and cross processor also (new MacTels). Easy to program the GUI? Maybe, never done it.

Isn't it rather an "Archicad+" topic, the accurate place for desperate people to grumble?
The 2nd section (specific question - problems) of the forum is very useful for people who try to solve something without being overflowed with general complaints.

When I bought in on the subscription, lo those many months ago, my reseller said February. I think folks now are talking April but I have never heard a definitive date from anyone.

oreopoulos, I have to dissgree with you about scripting. I really do not want to see a command line or code anymore. It belongs to the past. And to Autodesk. I am an architect, not a programmer. I do modelling and drawing, not coding. Sometimes rendering too. As for complex forms modelling - it CAN be done without scripting! Just look at MAX. Extremely complex forms are modelled there without any scripting. And everything is arranged in such a way that you could go back to any step in a list an change it!

With this I do not say what I like Graphisoft's progress - on this ground I fully support your opinion. It reminds me of what has been happening to Autocad during the recent years. There is a "new" release every year but there is NOTHING new in the application since r2000. And now it's r2006. Everything is just colourful icons, 3d buttons, flashing gadgets, etc.

I think the problem is age. Perhaps when an application reaches 10 or 15 years of age it should be terminated. Because it does not develop anymore! Autodesk's decisiion was to make Revit. Shall we wait for Graphisoft's similar step?

Ok, so who's forcing you to stick to AC? If Revit is all so bright new and shiny, maybe you should download a trial version and start learning?

IMO, Revit's still got "a lot to learn", I've tried it out just to see what's the big fuss about. Trust me: nothing. You can't get much real work done there, but in 2-3 releases it'll catch up with AC if GS doesn't respond properly.
