Ehmm... having used TW2, let me tell you that "perfectly" isn't the word I would be using...

Interesting, OSX i see ... corrupted files by chance?

I thought Graphisoft had solved their TW issues on the Apple side of things ... but I have just recently returned to an XSAN environment and hearing we should hold off on TW2'ing our project because of 'ongoing issues' resulting in corrupted files.

I have yet to verify personally .. anyone else had any experiences on this issue?

Did you mean BEST Upgrade Graphisoft ever had....don't forget about Teamwork 2. (They had to modify everything inside the AC13 to work perfectly in Teamwork) ...and for that Teamwork is major improvement for ArchiCAD 13.

For New features we have to wait for NEXT version.
Sorry but if you did read above , i work on my own, and not in a company. Teamwork is useless for me. So for me and all users that do not use TW, AC13 was a complete waste of money (to put it mildly)

You describe the entire path of Archicad development in just one line.

But we keep on using it to do the stuff.

OK well XSAN is not the issue anymore - the BIM Server is on regular drives. We are having problems with corrupted (non-TW) files though which are on an XSAN, although not sure if this is the problem or the fact the files had been started in AC11 and something is getting screwed up in the 11>12>13 conversion process.

Anyway it is all making me very hesitant to jump into TW2 - I have used it without problems so far but not in this environment or at the scale i'm now looking at.

Have you checked permissions on the 'corrupt' files?
I've found Archicad doesn't always inherit the permissions of the enclosing folder, as it is set to do via OSX Server (particularly if Access Control Lists are used).
Sometimes this prevents other people from opening a file.
Just a guess…

Any chance of getting back to the topic - i.e. ArchiCad 14?
