Archicad cover fill printing blurry / pixelated

Hello, I am trying to understand what is causing the blurriness in our print outs and PDFs of a tile hatch - see the left hand side of the screenshot below. This seems to be a very intermittent problem, but very annoying and makes the drawings look ugly. Sometimes our hatches print fine, and then sometimes this happens, and I really don't understand what the cause is.

So in this particular instance:

- The tile is modeled as a slab

- The top surface of the slab is overriden with "Field Tile" Surface

- The surface "Field Tile" uses a fill "Paving Windmill"

And then the view is placed on a layout at 1/4"=1'0" scale.

Screenshots attached. Any help is appreciated!!

Are you using the inbuilt publisher or are you using a 3rd party PDF plotter?

Hi Edi,

Thank you very much for the question! This is a rare one!

I'm wondering if there is a constant way to reproduce the issue? If you change the type of fill or the pen color, does the issue persist on the same slab?

I saw Steve posted a screenshot before me. What if you select the Element Pen, does it fix the issue?

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Best regards,

Minh
