BUG: Change Element ID for Doors and Windows when Marquee is

When i select a region with the marquee and try to manage element ID for doors and windows then the change id button is INACTIVE.

When i dont have a region selected everything is ok.

For walls beams... the marquee works ok.

Select the doors and windows in the marquee if you want to work on them.

This is totally impractical.
I use the thick marquee, to act on all stories.

If i dont use the marquee all door or windows are selected.
So it is definately incosistent.

The situations is as follows. I have 5 buildings and i want to change the ID of the doors according to type AND building (B01-D-001)
If i have to do it by selecting it would take ages. because i would have to do it floor by floor.

Anyway, in my eyes, i dont see any reason for selecting doors or windows when i dont have to select slabs walls objects and other elements.

Did you try Find&Select in 3D?

Yes. I solved it that way BUT

I think that this is still a bug.

The element ID manager is used

1) if i have a selection. On a selection.
2) if i dont have a selection on ALL objects.
3) if i have a marquee, to all objects inside the marquee

I dont see any obvious reason for door and windows ONLY to skip that rule.

Isnt it a minor bug?
