The page about the license types does not talk about such limitations, it says an EDU version is a full version:

Education version is a fully functional version that can be installed with a serial number.

Maybe your Work Environment Profile is set in such a way that structural-related commands and settings dialog panels are not shown. This can happen when, e.g., you imported your Work Environment (WE) Profile from an earlier Archicad version.

Try to apply one of the standard WE Profiles. Then you should have:

  • Structural Analytical commands in the Design menu
  • A Structural Analytical Parameters panel in settings Dialogs of many element types, like Walls, Slabs, Columns, Beams, and Roofs.
  • Structural Engineering and Structural Loads toolbars in the Window > Toolbars menu.
