What is the easiest way of "joining" Columns and Beams with complex profiles like my example on the right?
The elements don't need to be Beams and Columns, but they should be easily editable, while using complex profiles.
I have a bunch of such frames in my project, but I need the complex profile transitions to be seamless and I need to be able to change/update the profile.
Operating system used: Windows

You can set the column and beam end or top/bottom to have an angle. In your example it would be 45° or 135°. You might need to rotate the assigned complex profile, since the angle can only be set in one direction. You should be able to 'drag' the ends of profiles in section/elevation to manually set the angle.

Hi @martin-b
If you do not want beams and columns created with their default tools, check out the objects available for Steel frames and Steel Beams or Steel Columns, they have plenty of options too.
