Curtain wall

What's the best way to put curtain wall inside an existing wall?
Can I get it to show up as a window in the schedule?
Is there a window setup that can be used as a curtain wall?

By curtain wall I mean aluminum storefront frames and glass panels as in a typical strip mall that are punched into a typical wall.

Thanks.

I would suggest using the Storefront Objects from the AC11 Migration Library -- that's the easiest way to address all of your issues.

Thanks, will do it. I wonder why they weren't included on V12.

Because GS thought that the CW could replace the Storefront Objects -- it cannot. VOTE HERE

What happens to the CW question in V13?

The same issue exists in AC13 -- there were some improvements made to the editing interface, but CW elements cannot be considered "interchangeable" with SF Objects -- you still need to punch an empty opening before placing the CW, the doors within CW cannot be scheduled with Door Objects, etc. And I haven't checked, but I would guess that the SF objects are not available from the AC12 Migration Library -- so hold on to those.
