Dwight, it does not cut the Wall with the Ramp for me.

Update: if the outer radius of the Ramp equals the outer radius of the Wall, it does not cut it. Probably because the Reference line of the Wall is on the outside and it thinks it is not fully below the Ramp.
If I decrease the radius of the Wall then it cuts it.

Update2: It also cuts the Mesh.
Most probably what happened is it did not works at the time I tried it with the beta version back then, and they fixed it since. I am pretty happy about that.

In my experience, the TUBE command has generated a solid body since
at least as far back as AC 6.5. I have heard other people say that it only
generates a surface. So, as I said, TUBE generates a solid body for me.
Is it different for you ?

This is an out-of-control metaphor.

Anything in a computer is only a bunch of stooged-up surfaces.

Don't be fooled just because when you cut something in Archicad, the surface/edge codes are instructed to skin the void. And these surfaces only face out since their back faces are "culled."

Proof: Put a camera inside something you think is "solid." A wall, say.
It becomes invisible from inside. Not a solid at all.

Of course it's a trick. I was using the term "solid" in the parlance of
Archicad same as Laszlo was. So, using the Archicad meaning of the term,
I was asking Laszlo if his TUBE commands were generating only a surface
and therefor could not participate as an operator in a SEO.
