Intersection priority issue: stronger material not going through weaker material

Good morning, I am experimenting some issues with a model. A few weeks ago I managed to make the intersections between slabs and walls work the way I wanted (using material priority levels, worked like a charm) however, after turning the solo project to a shared project all the intersections are wrong, weaker materials "win" when it comes to intersect composite slabs and walls. Why could this be? is there any other way to program intersections between walls and slabs that I might ignore?

Please find attached three typical cases that showcase what I mean. It should be the concrete core that is going through, not the finishing layers of the slab.

Thank you in advance for your replies,

The Intersection Priority Number of the Wall's Building Material must be higher than the Intersection Priority Number of the Building Materials of all skins of the Slab, please check if that is the case.

Also, do you have the "Use legacy intersection and Surface methods for model elements" checkbox of the "Project Preferences > Legacy" dialog turned on by any chance?
