Invisible Disappearing Doors

Anonymous

I was working on a plan one afternoon and next thing i know all of my doors had disappeared. The opening remains and i can select the door but i can't see it.

I don't remember modifying anything.

It just seemed to have happened.

This will provide all of the updates to 8.1 R2C, no matter what patch you are currently using...

You will also want to get the updated library as well....

Before you update...read this...

I realize now that it's not just the doors but all of the objects within that particular tool [door, windows, openings, corner windows].

all of them are invisible yet selectable and able to be modified.
all of them show up in 3d view and when rendered but not in 2d plan view.

Check you display options. right click on plan/display options. Here in "doors and windows" you have the option to hide on plan

Hope this helps

One more thing to add here. It's probably defined in one of your view sets. So if you select that view set again the same thing will happen. What you will need to do is to redefine you view set so the doors and windows remain visible on your paln.

HTH.
