Mesh to Morph problem

Hi!

Im having an issue that was kind of posted here before, but it was accepted as solved, so i did not know if i should expose it there or create a new topic.

I have a wall mesh that im trying to convert to morph after an intersection operation with a terrain.

After i choose "convert to morph" the terrain goes back to its original shape. I have seen tutorials doing this and this outcome not happening. What am i missing?

BTW, i am trying to design a kerb that follows the terrain slope.

Thanks

Wow! having the same issue converting a mesh to morph. Thanks for posting this. I await with baited breath!

I'm doing cut and fill calculations on my mesh and want to lock the SEO operations into the mesh.

I just worked out how to make the morph from a mesh (ArchiCAD 27);

1. Select the morph tool

2. Magic wand all faces of the mesh so that you convert each face to a morph.

3. Turn off the mesh layer, select all of the faces to the 3D volume you need.

4. Right Click the selection and do either;

(a) "check solidity" (then if it gives the option) tell it to "make solid", or

(b) "Boolean Operations">"Union"

There you have it!

Hi!

Glad you found a way!

But im guessing that is a workaround to a problem, and i was looking for what is the cause of the actual problem, because having seen the operation be made in a simplier way makes me wanna know what is happening wrong. I am looking for speed and efficiency while using archicad.

Thanks

You could also create a more detailled kerb with a complexprofiel as a beam or with the railing tool.
