Millwork and custom cabinetry in ArchiCAD

This might seem straightforward but how do you format custom millwork/cabinetry drawings in ArchiCAD?

I understand how to model these (using slabs and walls, etc), but how does one really get into formatting and setting up the drawings?

Once we get into detailing a cabinet we want to show at least one, sometimes 3 or more, plans through the cabinet. Then we want sections cut through the cabinet, and elevations of each side. Elevations and sections seem manageable through the use of layers, but plans don't seem obvious for some reason.

Do we need to set up stories that are unrelated to the building stories in order to show the various plans through each cabinet? That seems messy. Does each cabinet have to be drawn in a separate file and then imported in order to get plans cut where we need them for detailing? Or am I just missing the method of cutting plans specific to objects?

Please help shed some knowledge. Thank you!

Changing the high of the Floor plan cut plane doesn't work for you?

Can the floor plan cut plane be adjusted per view, or would it change the cut plane on all of the plans?

Yes it can be adjusted per view.
