ROOF HOLES

Can roof holes be copied and placed in a different location in the same roof, or other roofs.
Also, what is the easiest way to erase (fill in) a roof hole. Do I have to put all the hole nodes on top of each other until they are all gone? Pretty tedious for a lot of nodes.

They can be copied within the same roof, but not into others.

You can select the hole by
1) make sure nothing is selected at all
2) shift-click on the edge of the hole. Only the hole will he highlightsed
3) Press your Delete Key

Tom, what you are talking about ? Selection part was OK, but why hit Delete ? Once you have your hole selected (works on roofs, slabs, hatches) use move, rotate, copy, multipy etc...

Part of the question was "what is the easiest way to erase (fill in) a roof hole". Select, then Delete.

Well, I could have told him to click "Edit > Clear" but it seemed faster to use the Delete key instead.

I already know how to delete, but thanks anyway. The real question is how to select it.

You dont even need to shift click to select the hole - just click on it and only the whole will highlight

Right click on the hole edge, choose Clear - or whatever else - from the context menu

If you are the arrow tool afficionado, click the Mercedes on the edge to select, use pet pallette for editing ...

Only the whole is it? That could be a problem!

Besides it depends what tool you're in and where on the hole you click - gotta be an edge.

I often do what Djordje suggested to select elements, right click on it, but then click off the context menu to cancel it. It's really effective when you have one hand full, like with a can of beer.
