Roof pivot line +

Can anyone explain the extra line that is appearing with roofs in AC20?

It doesn't seem to do anything and I'm wondering if if it should even be displayed in AC.

It looks like a fill handle for the cover fill.

Thanks Erwin. I normally use the building material as the the cover fill, overriding it with a background fill left the handle in plain sight. Good to know, will be handy in future.

I never see the handle, I think you only get it with some specific settings about what to use as fill origin/direction.

I override the pens too, but use the pivot line for the fill origin. You can also allign 3D texture (and vectorial fill) to that fairly easily in 3D.

Yes the cover fill needs to be set to 'Link to fill origin'.
Also the On-Screen Display Option for "Fill Handles' needs to be ON.
If it is off then you will only see the handle when you select the roof.
