Solution to the top voted wish: Mesh with constant thickness

Yeah, to me it looks like it somehow replaces the mesh surface with the object. If it is not built on the community object and is actually pulling the files Composites, that would be super neat.

In the info tab at the video a mesh is selected.You see also the blue contour line.

The nodes delected belong to the mesh.Changing the mesh updates instantly the o je t.

The mesh is just invisible (Maybe a transparent material)

So that means that a mesh and an object are in sync.

There are 3 parts to this - original native Archicad mesh, the addon and an object. If mesh changes, the addon updates the object. Mesh is set to top surface only with same surface attribute that top layer of the object has but could be set to something invisible. Haven't tried to see if I can hide the top surface of the object. In any case, object needs to have each layer as solid body in order to show in cut. Source mesh can always be hidden by placing on different layer or design option.

I did see the community object but our object is built from scratch.

Also it is not pulling composites but it could. Currently I added 10 layers and you pick how many you need, material and thickness.

Maybe the mesh should have a transparent material 100% so no additional settings are needed.

When can we expect the addon??

Keen to see if annotation in 2D/3D can be added to show falls, etc.

Even if you match the top surface, do you not sometimes get intersection artifacts?
