Hi,
It seems like after the last AC26 update this has been happening but when I switch between views, say from plan to section, the section, though saved with it's own layer settings is created with the floor plan layer. This makes switching between views incredibly frustrating because I always have to reselect the view when switching between tabs to get the proper layer settings to load.
It's hurting productivity, is anyone else having this problem?

This isn't aimed at you @Rubia Torres so please don't be offended by the following.
The policy of GS towards bugs is one that has caused so much frustration over the years. As stated "This is a known bug", which I would add, has been going for several versions. Admittedly it isn't as bad as it was in the past, but the suggestion we have to keep reporting it to get it fixed sucks! It is a waste of user time, particularly when users are already fighting their own design battles, and local support is I believe in short supply in various parts of the world.
It is a known bug and should be fixed as soon as possible!

Hi @DGSketcher,
I appreciate your polite feedback. I understand your frustration, that your time is valuable and that it should be invested on meaningful and joyful work. However, in our ticketing system, we need user reports to be able to escalate issues. It has to be proven to affect a considerable amount of users in the present product version to be worth the risk and time addressing it. To be able to offer effective fixes, we must evaluate impact and prioritize.
I hope for your understanding and be assured I have shared your feedback on technical support processes and this issue in particular. Your individual reports were added to the system, but I kindly ask new users that visit this thread, and have the same issue, to report to our support team locally. They have a direct channel to our technical support ticketing system and can properly communicate the severity of the issue.

Hi @Rubia Torres ,
Thank you for the response. I do wonder why we even do Beta testing... oh yes, to identify and fix bugs before release. So one user spots a bug and hopefully it gets fixed, which kind of counters asking users to contribute to escalation, but there again we do see a lot of "Long Term Backlog" references these days. I'm sure there are commercial strategies at play, but from a user perspective, when someone asks "Is it fit for purpose" and the response is "No, but when enough people are annoyed we might do something.", just fuels the frustration I mentioned and we wonder why we are paying so much for broken software.
In the real world this is the equivalent of saying "I know it is freezing and the radiator in your office doesn't work, but you are the only one complaining..."
</Rant Over>

I'm having the same issue. When I quickly change between saved views the previous view dominates the new one. Often times when I'm changing view settings it overrides the setting and ruines the whole drawing. It drives me crazy. GRAPHISOFT please do something about it. Start fixing your bugs it is min. two years problem! Mac Studio, M2 Max, AC26, I have the navigator tab open the whole time I'm working. Same problem in whole office.

Hi everyone,
Thank you for your feedback.
I assisted Rubia earlier with this issue, and I would like to give you some further explanation about it.
We have two registered bugs in our database that weren't fixed and describe a behavior similar to what you experience: DEF-4194 and DEF-10402. At this point, both are declined because they can be reproduced only in the files that we received from the users who opened the ticket. Unfortunately, unless we can reproduce the problem in a new file or determine what makes it happen in a specific file, we cannot proceed with fixing it.
DEF-4194 (as well as DEF-10402) mentioned by Rubia earlier is one possible explanation for the issue you experience, however, we cannot be sure that this is the same bug unless we check the file where the problem occurs. This is why we kindly ask you to report this to your local support. The more files we check, the higher the likelihood that our developers can pinpoint the root cause of the problem.
It would be also important to understand if the issue appears in Solo or Teamwork files.
We understand that this process may require additional time and effort on your part, but it is a necessary step towards implementing improvements in this area. Thank you for your understanding.
Kind regards,
Oleksandra
