Terrain SOE with Curve-wall

FXN
Participant

I did create a Curve wall and cut the Terrain using solid element operation.

The curve wall and the terrain are precise align, but for some reason the terrain is not completed cut.

Any solution...

There is no such thing as a perfect circle in cad. Each segment is divided into short straight sections, if one element has more points than the other, the distribution of segments is just different and you get small gaps between the sections.

Make sure the points of the terrain and the wall match exactly and have the same curve.

If you place nodes along your wall that match the nodes in your mesh, the facetting will generally match preventing this outcome.

As cuba says, curves can be imprecise.

Archicad will model curves with straight edges that sometimes don't match.

You can model yourself with straight edges instead of curves (the more you have the rounder the curve), and that way you can ensure the straight edges line up perfectly.
