Why no editing planes???

I created a new AC file from my template file, and I don't see the Editing plane displayed on the 3d window, and I don't have the "Editing Plane" command on the menu when I right-click the mouse when editing an element on the 3d window...

Why???

All these features work fine if I use the standard AC template.
