complex wall w/ window below floor plane

Am trying to show a window in a wall in plan view. The wall is below the floor level (in the foundation wall). Wall is a complex profile wall.

Symbolic cut is not available in floor plan display with a profile wall. Can't figure out how to get the window to show up in the wall. Am stumped.

Thanks.

You can adjust this with your 'Floor Plan Cut Plane Settings'.

As Dontknow suggested use the Floor Plan Cut Plane settings.
You will need to set a negative 'Show down to' distance before you can set an negative FPCP height.
Depending what else you have set to show by FPCP you might get away with that if you want to show the windows all in the same plan.

Otherwise if you don't want to create a separate storey for your foundation walls then you can create multiple views of the plan and each can have its own Floor Plan Cut Plane settings.
So you can have separate plans of the same storey shown at different levels.

Barry.
I tried to do this but I got a strange result. Look at the attached picture.
If the top level of the wall is above the homestory what you suggested works properly. If the top of the wall is below the homestory the result is just a projection and not a section.
What does it depend on?

I think that you must set 'show up to' and 'show down to' both to 'Current story' (Piano Corrente).

Set the wall -projection overhead
show projection-entire element
window-overhead all.

Floor plan cut plane - show down to current story- minus 60"
Absolute display limit - minus 60 inches.

This combination of settings works for me.

I tried to add a floor below the home story (in my example it was ground floor and there was no floor under) and It worked finally.
Again, I tried to remove the floor and it didn't work any more.
So it acts like a bug in my opinion.
