Im getting to grips with AC17 this last couple of weeks. So far Im impressed with the new work flow, all seems to make sense.
But Ive come up against something odd I cant work out...
attached is an image from a 3d document Ive created. Can anyone explain why the vector fills for the two elements of my wall as well as the two elements of my terrain are not aligned as one material when they use the same Material/cut fill??
Im using renovation filters, but all the elements are all designated as "existing" so I dont think this is the problem
thanks for any help

The site is asking me to install their download manager, which I don't want to do.
Can you put it somewhere else, like Dropbox or something similar?

Unfortunately I could not find any way to fix it. I don't know it the fact that the bottom Wall piece is a simple Wall, while the upper piece is a Composite as anything to so with it.
But there is another problem too where the Ground Floor Composite and the Attic Composite meet: there is a problem there too.
So I would suggest that you send this file to your local reseller and they will forward it to Graphisoft to look at.

I even tried to invert the direction of the wall and swap reference line positions but there was no change.
Even stacking two of the same walls in the same storey shows that the fills don't match in 3D docs.
It seems the fills are not based on the origin position as they are in section.
