how do I increase mesh size while keeping topography

Ed455678

I have made a mesh after importing a topographic map into Archicad 28, but when I tried to increase the size of the mesh, the topography won't increase as well. Is there a way I can increase everything at the same rate?

Thanks

If I understand correctly, you have created user-defined Ridges on the Mesh based on the ridges of the topographic map. But now that you want to make the mesh, let us say, 50% larger, those user-defined Ridges will stay where they are, and their positions do not change as you would expect when resizing.

To achieve that, you could convert the Mesh to a Morph, and then you could resize the Morph, and all its geometry would resize proportionately.

Though you really should scale anything you import before you use it...Morph representation and modification is a pain...
