The Archicad 10 Help Menu includes a new feature guide with about 20 pages of detail on everything you ever wanted to know about converting projects from Archicad & Plotmaker 9 to Archicad 10.
The short version is yes, it's possible, and should take about 10 minutes to convert.

I found it helpful to open the most current plotmaker file with AC10. Then the PM master layouts are easy to cut and paste and re-create in AC10
