slab lines NOT eliminating in HOTLINK + SLAB

hi all,
have a line elimination problem in slabs here.
i am trying to create 2x internal module and while in first module+slab interaction goes clean-cut, same result not appearing in the base module.
hierarchy is like this:

1.module= slab (appropriate)
2.module= 1.module+slab (appropriate)
main= 2. module (problem)

1.module inside 2. module project:

slab inside 2. module project:

if 2. module+slab module done again:

these happens:

Are you sure that in all cases line elimination between slabs is set in Model View Option?

yes mvo checked, it is nominal.

nominal: performing or achieved within expected, acceptable limits; normal and satisfactory;

So your MVO => Construction Element Options => Slab is set to Eliminate?

So if your draw some butting slabs in your main file, they merge?

Line elimination is I believe based on surfaces, as the problem seems to stem from trying to join hotlinks is there possibly some attribute change in play? Unfortunately and it is well documented, managing attributes in hotlinks can be problematic.

Hello,

Thank you very much for raising this issue and I am very sorry for the experience!

I attempted to reproduce the issue on a brand new file using Archicad 23, but it didn't happen.
If I understand correctly, this is how you do it:

- Create an L-shape slab and save it as Module 1
- Hotlink module 1 into a new file. Add some more slabs to this new file, make sure they are touching. Save this file as Module 2
- Hotlink module 2 into a new file. The lines are not eliminated correctly.

Was it correct how I describe it?
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Best regards,
Minh

hello, thanks for your interest. it was correct how you describe. but i deleted second module and revise the project without it. maybe i have missed something if it is working for you. now without module 2, my problem solved.
best regards.
