Also when you place an X-ref can you clip it like you can in other cad software so it only shows certain parts of the x-ref?

You can reference a PLN by Hotlinking.
Import the DWG via the Drawing Tool, not XREF, and you can adjust the boundaries of the drawing as you can with other polygonal elements.

Ok.I was able to hotlink it since its in PLN format.
How do I clip it? For example I have a floorplan hotlinked in there but I want to clip the titleblock and other stuff around the drawing so it doesn't show up on the new drawing its referenced to.
