Can an admin release another user's reserved objects?

Hello All,

I have a question regarding the "Reserve" functionality for project objects.

In my daily workflow, I reserve the objects I need to work on. However, sometimes, I might forget to release one or two items when I'm done. This can unfortunately block other team members who need to work on those objects.

My current understanding is that only the user who created the reservation can release it.

My question is: Is there a way for another user, such as a Project Lead, Administrator, or someone with a higher role privilege, to release reservations made by another user?

If this feature already exists, could someone please point me to the documentation or explain the steps? I haven't been able to find it.

Best regards,

Hector

Afaik the only way is to kick the slowpoke out of the project.

This may cause the loss of unsent work though...

... and log in with your BIMcloud credentials.

You should find yourself 'inside' the project in question.

Scroll down the user list, if you see the symbol on the right:

Thanks @Stefan L_ ,

Normally is me the slowpoke, i forgot to close the program last Friday and I have a few things reserved 😓 and I sent the changes but I did not close, so I was wondering if there is a work around to solution this.

I foresee this will happen in the near future, because we are just starting to adopt Archicad in the office and until it´s on people´s system will be complicated.

Thanks for the advice!

Regards,

Hector

Well, that's why I showed my username in those screenshots... 🤣

We are like 80 seats here and this happens all the time.

It's no problem if everyone sends the changes.

If not: Learning by burning.

If its a project I am working on, and someone forgets to release all...They know they will be kicked out if I notice it.

Learning by burning is a very accurate statement!
