Elements Reserved By No One

Hi all,

in one of our Teamwork projects we are having an issue where certain elements/controls are reserved by no one, and we cannot request these elements.

See attached screenshot showing Reserved By_________ with no name shown.

Also no users are showing in our Teamwork Palette, even tho we have 5 people working on the project at one time.

A little more investigation has us thinking this is more linked to the fact that no TW projects are showing any users in their "USERS" pane of TW Palette.

Users are showing on the BIM Server.

This all started after a power outage that caused the Server to crash.

Has anyone had these issues before, and/or does anyone have a solution for it.

Thanks.

A small practice ( tree architects) using imac and MacBook Pro also noticed the same kind of problems; elements reserved by none. Its's ok to keep on working with the TW, but problems occurs when trying to ask for reservations from another user. Having a deadline coming next week...
We waiting for a solution asap from graphisoft.

ok we have worked out a solution.

When I say 'we' I mean our IT guy. I personally have no idea how all this works!!

Disclaimer:

“As with anything in Terminal, make sure that you know what you’re doing, and always backup first”

The issue is a corrupt messages.db file which can happen with improper shutdowns, stops of the service, or other corruption.

1. Stop the server

In terminal, execute both commands below.
• sudo launchctl unload /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.graphisoft.PortalServerService-v18.0.plist
• sudo launchctl unload /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.graphisoft.TeamworkApplicationServerMonitor-v18.0.plist

2. Open Finder and navigate to Applications -> Graphisoft -> BIM Server 18 -> BIM Cloud Server 18 -> Mailboxes and delete mailboxes.db

3. Reload the services by executing both commands below in Terminal.
• sudo launchctl load /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.graphisoft.PortalServerService-v18.0.plist
• sudo launchctl load /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.graphisoft.TeamworkApplicationServerMonitor-v18.0.plist

Hi All, this problem with the damaged mailboxed.db file used to be a problem with build 4006. Are you on the latest 5100 update with ARCHICAD 18?
Let me know! If the problem appears with the 5100 build, I will ask you to give us logs. Thanks,

We are also on build 5100 and it happened to us. Is all that terminal stuff necessary? We just deleted the .db file without doing that.

We are also having the same problem and we are also on Build 5100.

Should we try the above solution?

I looked through the release notes of AC18 build 6000 and it contains a lot of Teamwork-related fixes. You might want to try to upgrade, if your localized version is available.
