Grant permission
Server computer is in domain - Default LocalSystem account
Enable "full control" permission to the BIMcloud's LocalSystem user account in the network share settings. You can link in the domain to another machine's LocalSystem account with HostName$ or \\Domain\HostName$ formats.Server computer is in domain - Custom user account
1.) Create an account specifically to run BIMcloud services in the Active Directory. It is recommended to set the password policy to never expire the password for this account, so you do not need to change it regularly in the service account property settings when it expires.2.) On the BIMcloud's computer put this custom user account into the Administrators group. This allows the account to access the necessary resources important to run the BIMcloud services.
3.) On the computer hosting BIMcloud, set the "logon as service" permission to the custom service account. This enables the account to run the services on that machine.
4.) Change the LocalSystem account to the new custom service account for each BIMcloud service.
5.) In the network share settings enable "full control" permission to the new custom service user account provided for BIMcloud.
Server computer is part of workgroup
1.) Create an account specially to run BIMcloud services on both the computer hosting BIMcloud and on the chosen file server. Make sure the username and password are exactly the same on both computers and the password never expires. This way you can prevent service outage due to locked user/ expired password.2.) Put this custom user account into the Administrators group on the computer hosting BIMcloud.
3.) On the BIMcloud's computer set the "logon as service" permission to the custom service account.
4.) Change the LocalSystem account to the new custom service account for each BIMcloud services.
