Reserving 2D elements on the same story

I work on 2D elements on the same story as my co-worker. I work on one corner of the plan and the co-worker works on another corner. It seems like I cannot reserve the 2D elements because my worker is also working on the same 2D elements as I do, like lines, fill, and text... if you know, please show me how to reserve it properly.

Any single element can be reserved by only one User at a time. So if your colleague has the element reserved you will not be able to reserve it. The Info Tag will display this info if you hover your cursor over the element. You can request the element from your colleague and they can grant it to you, but you will not be able to work on the same element at the same time.
