Some users in my office just brought this strange problem to me:
Of course the construction documents for this project are nearly complete and we need those markers to exist on the plan as referenced elsewhere in the documents. I don't want my people wasting time placing 30 more linked markers to reference the content of the missing markers if they don't have to, so I'm seeking ideas on troubleshooting this.

Hi there, no doubt you would have already checked your layers to see if these markers are turned on in your views ?

Yes, of course. The markers are simply not there. Checked layers, graphic overrides, renovation filters, other stories, etc.

I had this exact issue just now, and all settings are correct. I was re-lettering my sections, and as soon as I unlocked my sections (I always lock them so I do not accidentally delete them), that ONE marker disappeared, as well as ALL the dimensions on that plan view. Both layers are on, and no other setting has changed to cause this. However, if I change the layer combination and switch back, the markers reappear.

I’m glad I’m not the only one with this issue, but as usual I’m *almost* the only one. There was no resolution to this so we were forced to recreate our missing information. Who do I bill this time to?

Mine reappears after "refreshing" the view by switching views or layer combinations and then returning. However, the rebuild feature will not bring them back. Very odd bug...
