crash when opening /joining with existing teamwork file

We have a problem with one of our computers opening /joining with existing teamwork files on the bim server.

All other machines are connecting fine and all TW files working ok. The problem computer opens solo projects fine.

Computer is running windows XP and we are working with AC 14.

The problem arose a few weeks ago when we did a send/receive from this particular computer- it crashed and then would continue to crash every time when trying to join/open any TW file. Before this it has been working fine.

I have spoken with graphisoft tech support who suggested to delete the TW data file in the documents and settings >users> graphisoft file and try to join again.

This has not worked.

I have also tried joining under another user name – creating a new user name, and trying to share a new TW file form scratch for the computer – all of which cause AC to crash.

I would appreciate if anyone has any ideas on anything further I could try as I am not sure what else could be the cause.

Additional things you may try are:
-deleting all ArchiCAD preferences data, not just TW data:

-reinstalling ArchiCAD.

thanks for the advice laszlo, have tried all your suggestions but still no luck. I have managed to get one project working prior to trying these but all others still crash. will keep trying things. I thought the latest hotfix may have helped but it hasn't!

I am out of ideas for now.
I think you should contact your local tech support again.

This just happened to me yesterday. All of a sudden I could not join any of my teamwork projects. After hours of frustrating trial and error, I found out that when I uninstall the Cadimage tools, there is no longer a problem.

I opened a support ticket on Cadimage website, so I will see if they have a solution.

BTW, I'm using 3006 USA, and (was using) Cadimage design suite 30 day trial.
